Sinéad Spelman, ‘Untitled’, Drawing (Indian ink on Paper), 2018

etHALL gallery began in 2011 as a non-profit space devoted to exhibiting contemporary drawing, offering a panorama of the creations within this field, programming artists from varying backgrounds, styles and trajectories. In 2014 ethall became a gallery and opened up to other disciplines, mainly sculpture and installation. It began representing artists in art fairs such as Pareidolie 2013 and 2014; Arco ( best stand Opening section award), 2016, 2017 (Adquisition Arco Fundation award); 2018.

Ethall’s priority has always been to offer artists an stimulating and agreeable space in which to develop and present proposals. In line with this, at the end of 2018 etHall left it’s base in Raval in the center of Barcelona and moved to an industrial warehouse in L’Hospitalet (an area where many of the city’s galleries and artist studio are now based) where the characteristics will allow for the presentation of more ambitious projects.
